Rajendra Gawade

Rajendra Popatrao Gawade (Raju Dada) is a visionary and calm community leader known for his balanced approach to development and people-centric governance. A strong supporter of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) under Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, he believes in bringing progressive change through infrastructure, education, and empowerment of local citizens.

From 2016 to 2021, he served as the Sanchalak (Director) of Ghodnai Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana, contributing to cooperative efficiency and farmer welfare. He also served as a member of the Agricultural Market Committee (2012–2017), working actively for fair market access and better rates for local farmers.

Raju Dada remains in constant touch with common people, understanding their everyday challenges and ensuring their voices are represented in every decision. His leadership reflects humility, transparency, and a long-term vision for sustainable rural development.

Achievements

Organised Motadevi Mandir pilgrimage with around 7,000 participants — handled logistics, transport, and welfare aid.
